Dr. Harris grew up in Irondale, AL, and attended medical school at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He then completed five years of surgical training at the Mayo Clinic Florida, where he was mentored by some of the nation’s leading experts in various specialties, including antireflux and hiatal hernia surgery. During his residency, he was also one of the earliest adopters of the LINX procedure. Today, through Adam S. Harris, M.D., LLC, he brings this advanced training and expertise to patients seeking high-quality surgical care.
